Definitely before covid and a life changing business it would have been yes Geoff, zero chance now.
I lost a decade to a bad business venture, the lady I planned to marry, a brother and then after an epiphany all my friends by choice. I slaved again working as many hours as possible but this time for a wage. 6 weeks on 1 week off when allowed, taking every scrape of overtime I could and minus the 4 years due to grief and alcoholism I sacrificed another 11 years to fifo.
If it was clean I'd support it but little is and this touches on the agenda. As soon as I see even a tendril leading back to the scum class I oppose it with all I can spare and what little talent I have left.
Similar to my opposition to the climate change agenda but the links to the control narrative are deeper on climate change.
I used to vote labour and believe in the inherent goodness of humanity, but I used to believe in all sorts of delusional stuff looking back. Now I believe in behaviours and the clusters that show the picture.
when I was in my 20s a party in Belgium tried to get elected on a wage for stay at home mothers. Of course the ruling parties declared this crazy, impossible to finance etc. The party of course did not make it. Afterwards some people calculated how much it would cost - it turned out it would be easily financeable - the unemployed already had that money, lower income moms would stay home and take care of their kids and households, and all the rest just had their wages.
I think it is a great idea - but all those that refuse to stay home, should not get it. Otherwise it is yet another benefit for the wealthy.
The points you mention on property are great, too. And immigration should indeed be controlled. Someone on another blog proposed to check how well immigrants are integrated - all those that learned the language, got a job, participate in social life, can stay. All those that are only here for handouts are sent back immediately. (Legal immigrants in the US are bound to obey these rules, you even have to promise not to ask the govt for anything and they want to know that you are not penniless)
I owe you an apology Geoff because I believe your intentions are pure but I worry the road to hell is paved in good intentions.
I'll pass this party around the groups and ask people to investigate because where their preferences go is critical. This is critical because evwry party that ever mentioned negative gearing and reform has been destroyed. They should understand this and if that's the case potentially they're in this to lose but leach votes.
Look at Victoria and the "vote Dan Andrews out party" giving their preferences to Dan Andrews
I respect you Geoff and more so because I can only imagine what your stance on fuoride did to your career(and bank balance). You genuinely seem to care about right (healthy benifit) and wrong (harm).
I met a Sustainable Australia Party candidate when I was running for the Legislative Council in Victoria. That was the first time I met Ian Brighthope and members of the Cannabis push. Also met former prostitute Fiona Patten from the Sex Party, since renamed.
One of my friends thought this party is WEF.
But their policy on increasing the possibility of Home Ownership for Generation Z is worth a look.
> restricting Foreign Ownership of Residential Property
> cutting Immigration
> phasing out the 50% Capital Gains Tax discount
> abolishing negative gearing on residential investment

On X, I was asked where the money would come from.
I said:
Cancel AUKUS and Dutto's Mad Nuclear fantasy and you have $1,000,000,000,000 for starters.
Divide by number of homeless people in Australia now.

Do you personally know them and vouch for them ?

Thanks, I passed the party name around so I'll see what comes back mate.
She seems like a person with a solid set of values which laid the foundation for her achievements.
