So in many ways batch variation could be caused by poor manufacturing, (as Sasha Latypova has highlighted), as well as little or no quality control. All originally in an attempt to rush out the batches and maximise profits. Then there is the added factor of transportation and storage before use, the early stipulation for "extremely low temperatures" suddenly seemed to disappear, and it almost became a case of, "stick it in the fridge and use as necessary". Perhaps those batches which were stored properly kept more mRNA intact and were therefore more dangerous to the vaccinee, whereas others may have simply degraded and become almost useless (and less dangerous!)
