seems like a lot of bad side effects for a heartburn medicine. Instead of finding the reason for the heartburn, the doc prescribes you a poison that can kill you... hm. I remember that booklet from Dr Coleman, I think the title was, don't let your doctor kill you. Everyone should read that, and then stop running to the doctor. May be a few good ones would survive, in case we really need one.

Thanks for your reports ! saving them for future use.

Thanks very much Ingrid. I remember a neighbour who was sent home by his doctor after complaining of new onset pain in his chest. Doctor told him it was most likely "heartburn". Neighbour died of heart attack that night.

that is bad! a doc who cannot tell heartburn from a heart attacks! My ex went to the doc with neck pain and was told to rub it with some cream. It was a hernia. Then he was sent to get 2 injections with cortisone. In the meanwhile our TV technician came by and advized us to try hot compresses with ginger. By the time he went for the first jab, the pain was almost gone. After the injection it got way worse again. Needless to say he never got the second one. We continued for another week or 2 with the compresses and it was gone. Recently an uncle went to the hospital with excruciating headache, was given some pain killer and at night, had an aneurysm. While being transported to the hospital he got 5 more, lived unconscious for another 2 months, then died. Might have been jab related, but not sure.

Very sad about your uncle. Headache after jabs should always be taken seriously.

The rights to Zantac were originally owned by Glaxo and contributed to the global rise of that company. It was the world’s largest selling drug in the mid-1980s used for treating heartburn and peptic ulcers, in the days when it was thought ulcers were caused by stress. It’s slightly ironic that Pfizer is the one left holding the poison chalice long after the original formulation is off-patent.

GSK is still paying out victims to avoid trials. Reuters estimates cost:

"Citi analysts estimate GSK will settle all the Zantac cases against it for a total of about $5 billion in the first quarter of 2024, clearing what it called a "still relevant" overhang for its investment case and a distraction for management."
