I have two felled oaks here in the US and have tried for ages to find someone willing to mill them for me to use as beams inside the house, or to take them for resale. No one will do it because they want large stands of trees or it is not worth their time. I hope you have better luck.

Thanks for your support. Recent storms have brought down many trees in my area and lots are being cut down next to major roads.

Buy a large chain saw, watch youtube, and you can do this yourself. Use safety equipment, watch the videos teaching about what dangers to expect from a chain saw, and then go ahead and do it yourself.

I will take my chainsaw with me next time I fly down under, sadly you might have to wait a few years! I dare to buy a chainsaw and have a go yourself, that will get your adrenaline going, they are good scary clean fun.

Unfortunately I am now limited in movement and have declining muscle mass but I do have a chainsaw. Anyone good at estimating the tonnage? I think ~ 100 tonnes for the two main fallen trees. Can you identify the species?

Thanks Robert. The wombats have already left their mark in poo on the fallen bricks, regarding them as invading their home.

Do 10 minutes a day.

Muscle mass comes back, to men of any age.

Never let age limit you, it is your mind which is doing that.

buy a chain saw and do it yourself. I had to do this, when a huge tree fell in our yard. One piece at a time.
